Wedding anniversaries come, but once a year, and it is always nice to know that you have an abundance of choices in giftware. It is also good to know that it is acceptable for the wedding anniversaries gifts to be either modern or traditional.

The wedding anniversaries that stand out the most are the 25th which is silver, the 40th Ruby and 50th Gold. However, those in between are usually recognized just as much, especially if it is the fifth, tenth and so on. Traditionally, for a fifth anniversary you would give something that represents wood. This could mean a piece of furniture or a tree for the garden. Whereas, the modern gift for a fifth anniversary is silverware. Another example of traditional gifts is tin or aluminum for the tenth anniversary, but the modern gift is leather or diamonds. No longer do women (or men) need to wait until their 60th anniversary to receive another diamond!

So, whichever you choose, whether it is modern or traditional gifts for the wedding anniversaries in your life, you will be pleasantly surprised by the variety to choose from as well as the availability and reasonable prices.
